BLACK EARTH, Wis. -

A three-vehicle crash closed a portion of Highway 14 near Black Earth Thursday morning, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to Highway 14 at Kahl Road in the town of Black Earth at 6:23 a.m. Both lanes of traffic were closed until 7:56 a.m.

Investigators said Fletcher McGiveron, 48, of Middleton, was stopped at the intersection facing west when his car was rear-ended by a car driven by Tory Rowe, 16, of Arena. McGiveron's car spun around and into traffic, sideswiping a car driven by Kathleen Olson, 59, of Black Earth. Rowe's car flipped over and landed on its roof.

Rowe was taken to University of Wisconsin Hospital with minor injuries, and the other drivers were not injured, according to deputies.

Rowe will be cited on suspicion of inattentive driving, according to sheriff's officials.
