SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -

A Kohler Co. employee is accused of using his company credit cards to start an escort service.

A criminal complaint filed in Sheboygan County says Kirk Riddle used a pair of company cards from mid-April to mid-May to ring up more than $117,000 in charges for his "adult VIP entertainment" business. The complaint says Riddle charged advertising, cell phones, cameras and airfare and lodging for women traveling from Las Vegas to Wisconsin.

The 46-year-old Riddle was a communications employee at Kohler. Sheboygan Press Media reported that when Kohler security staff confronted Riddle, he admitted "managing" some women from his Sheboygan home and paying for their lodging. He's charged with 12 felony counts of theft from a business. A conviction carries more than 31 years in prison.
