MANITOWOC, Wis. -

The U.S. Coast Guard says it's called off its search for a missing man in Lake Michigan near Manitowoc.

The Coast Guard was called out Sunday night after receiving a report of an empty, capsized sailboat off Red Arrow Beach. The man sailing the boat could not be found.

Crews spent 13 hours searching the lake and covered more than 109 square miles. A helicopter from the Coast Guard's Traverse City, Michigan station assisted in the search.
