LAKE DELTON, Wis. -

Lake Delton police have given the all clear Friday night after a bomb threat was reported at the Wilderness Hotel.

Lake Delton police said the Wisconsin Dells Dispatch Center received a call shortly after 4 p.m. Friday for a bomb threat at the hotel, which is in the village of Lake Delton. By 7 p.m., police determined the hotel was safe; no explosives were found.

Police responded to the Wilderness Resort and assisted staff in ensuring safety of guests and searching the water park at the resort. The resort was cleared and resumed normal operations at 7 p.m.

Lake Delton police said it found the threat to be "non-credible" and the department is investigating the person or people who may be responsible for the false threat.

In a Facebook post, the hotel said staff evacuated the water parks while police investigated.
