Woman mugged at gunpoint in garage
Victim's daughter nearby when man pulls gun
A woman on the west side was mugged at gunpoint in her garage Thursday at about 6 p.m.
The Madison woman, 39, told police she and her young daughter had just returned to their home on Cimarron Trail Thursday evening when, after parking the car, a man approached her in the garage, pointed a gun at her and demanded her purse.
Police said the man grabbed her wallet and left. Another man was also standing nearby, according to the report.
One man was described as a thin-built black man, possibly in his teens, about 6 feet tall wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. The other man is described a black man with a stocky build.
Police said no one was injured in the incident.
