University of Wisconsin System President Kevin Reilly has formed a committee to select the next UW-Eau Claire chancellor.

Reilly has appointed 21 people to the panel, including 11 UW-Eau Claire faculty members and two students. The committee is expected to meet for the first time after the fall semester begins.

The group is expected to recommend five finalists to Reilly and a special Board of Regents committee. The president and the committee will make a final recommendation to the full board.

UW-Eau Claire Chancellor Brian Levin-Stankevich left the school earlier this month to take over as president at Westminster College in Salt Lake City.
