FITCHBURG, Wis. -

Police said three presumed teens stole pizzas from a delivery driver in Fitchburg early Saturday.

According to the report, the delivery driver was bringing two pizzas to an apartment on the 5100 block of Anton Drive at about 1:45 a.m. The victim told police that as he was about to knock on the customer’s apartment door, three black teens between 15 and 17 years old approached him and began talking casually to the delivery man. One of the teens then struck the delivery man in the upper torso and his head, police said. The teens fled with a sausage pizza, a pepperoni pizza and a two-liter bottle of soda, the victim told police.

Officers attempted to track the thieves using a K-9 but were unsuccessful. Police said the teens were wearing dark clothing.

The report did not indicate the restaurant where the driver worked.
