Son: Mom 'evil monster,' deserves to die in prison
Woman faces sentencing for death of daughter
A Wisconsin man whose mother faces sentencing for the 1957 death of his baby sister says his mother is an "evil monster" who deserves to die in prison.
James Klokow Jr., of Sheboygan, says his sister was robbed of her life more than 50 years ago, and his mother has never paid the price. He tells The Associated Press he wants his 76-year-old mother to get a 20-year sentence.
Ruby Klokow pleaded no contest in February to second-degree murder. She was scheduled to be sentenced Monday but the hearing was delayed to May 1.
The baby's death was initially ruled an accident but the case was reopened in 2008 after James Klokow reported stories of horrific child abuse. Ruby Klokow eventually admitted to roughly handling her 6-month-old daughter.
