SHINE Medical Technologies will be moving its headquarters from Monona to downtown Janesville later this year, according to a release.

SHINE is a Wisconsin-based company that produces medical isotopes.

SHINE employees will continue operations in the new headquarters while the company prepares for construction of its medical radioisotope production facility, which was approved by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in February, according to the release.

SHINE will occupy the top floor of the Prospect 101 building in downtown Janesville, approximately 6 miles north of the future production facility, which will be built near the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport, officials said.

All of SHINE’s employees will relocate to the downtown headquarters, according to the release. SHINE is also expected to add 60 employees in 2017, and employ 150 people at is future production facility.
