Romney to campaign at Janesville manufacturer
Ryan slated to appear with presidential contender
Republican Mitt Romney plans to campaign at a Janesville manufacturer on Monday as part of his six-state bus tour.
A source close to the Romney presidential campaign who requested anonymity because the campaign had not officially released the details said today that Romney will be at Monterey Mills in Janesville.
The source said U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, who is from Janesville and a potential vice presidential pick, will also appear with Romney.
Monterey Mills bills itself as the premier supplier of knitted fabric to the paint roller industry.
Romney's bus tour begins on Friday in New Hampshire and concludes Tuesday in Michigan.
The Wisconsin stop marks the first time Romney has campaigned in the state since winning the primary in April. It comes less than two weeks after Gov. Scott Walker won a recall election, bolstering Republicans' hopes for the presidential race.
