Madison police are investigating after gunshots were fired on the city's far west side Tuesday.

Police said multiple shots were fired just before 5 p.m. in the 1300 block of Theresa Terrace near Hammersley Road.

Police at the scene recovered three shell casings but said no one was injured.

Witnesses told police that a green car was seen speeding away from the scene.
