Police investigate home burglary in Milton

Thousands of dollars in items stolen

MILTON, Wis. -

The Milton Police Department said it's investigating a home burglary in Milton.

The burglary took place between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday at a home on Vernal Avenue, according to a Milton Police Department news release.

Items stolen from the home include: various jewelry items, including gold/silver necklaces and bracelets; silver dollars, half dollars; Canadian, British and Mexican currency; an undetermined amount of U.S. currency and a scuba diving knife.

Police said the total value of the stolen items is in the thousands of dollars.

Police said they are seeking information from anyone that could lead to solving this burglary.
