A 16-year-old Sun Prairie teen was arrested after threatening a family member and trying to evade police at East Towne Mall, according to Madison police.
Police said the incident started at 2:50 p.m. Monday when the teen threatened a 45-year-old female family member with a baseball bat following an argument in the mall’s parking lot.
The teen tried to evade officers in the mall and was arrested outside the mall.
He was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while armed and resisting an officer.
