Police: Girl, 11, delivers punches to 12-year-old outside Metro bus
Attacker tried to avoid surveillance cameras
An 11-year-old girl attacked a 12-year-old girl outside a Metro bus, delivering at least nine punches to the 12-year-old’s face, according to Madison police.
Police said the 11-year-old thought the 12-year-old was talking about her and waited to attack the girl until they were off the bus to avoid being caught by surveillance cameras in the bus. The attack was recorded by a camera mounted outside the bus in the 3100 block of Muir Field Road.
Police said the 11-year-old was unapologetic about the attack. She was taken to the Juvenile Reception Center on suspicion of battery and disorderly conduct.
