MADISON, Wis. -

A security officer’s decision to call police helped officers find a burglary suspect hiding under a desk in an office Wednesday night, according to police.

Police were called to Villager Mall on South Park Street at 6:19 p.m. to a report of a break-in in progress.

Officers said they found Perry M. Coleman, 18, of Madison, hiding under a desk inside an office he had broken into using a screwdriver.

Police also suspect Coleman in a burglary at the same office Sept. 20. Cash was taken during the burglary.

Coleman was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools and criminal damage to property.
