MADISON, Wis. -

A core group of homeless people in the city of Madison experienced deja vu Monday.

About a dozen members of Occupy Madison moved back onto the East Washington site they left earlier this year.

Advocates said they are back because they have nowhere else to go.  The county campsites where they had been staying all summer are now closed.

"It's a problem," said Brenda Konkel, an advocate for homeless people. "People have no place to go and there really are no legal options available.  There's no place to camp."

Konkel said the homeless population has been peaceful and has not been approached by police to move.

In April, the group was forced off the old Don Miller lot as construction started for new development.
