The Sussex-based company that has printed Newsweek for decades says the magazine's print demise will have little effect on them.
Newsweek's editor announced it will shift to a digital-only format, available online and on tablet computers. Its last issue will be the Dec. 31 issue.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Quad/Graphics has worked with Newsweek since 1977.
Quad spokeswoman Claire Ho says they will not be cutting jobs. She says they are sad to see the newsweekly end its print edition but they have reduced their print run counts for years.
She says it will have "negligible financial impact" on the company.
In its latest annual report, Quad highlights several publishers, including Condé Nast, Hearst Magazines and Meredith Corp., among its customers.
