Rescue workers who have been searching Lake Michigan for a missing swimmer near Port Washington say they're now dealing with a recovery mission.
The 14-year-old boy was to begin high school Tuesday. He was swimming with friends Sunday when he disappeared.
Authorities scoured the waters Sunday with no luck. They resumed the search Monday, saying they were now looking for the boy's body.
Divers were searching locations where sonar had detected a number of objects. However, a WITI-TV report said the visibility is low because of rough water conditions.
Officials planned to search the lake until they find the body or until dusk falls.
Port Washington is about 25 miles north of Milwaukee.
