The driver of a milk truck came upon cattle on Highway 11 and was unable to avoid striking and killing two cows, according to the Green County Sheriff’s Office.
James Munn, 26, of Orfordville, was driving the milk truck west in the W7200 block of Highway 11 in Clarno Township at about 7 p.m. Thursday when he said he came across numerous head of cattle in the lane.
Munn told authorities he braked and swerved but was unable to miss two cows.
The milk truck sustained moderate front end damage and was towed from the scene, according to deputies.
