Man killed in 3-car crash identified
Medical examiner: Toxicology tests underway
A man killed in a three-car crash Tuesday is identified as a Hollandale man.
Aaron Scheneider, 33, was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 51 when he crashed into two cars just after 9:15 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Dane County Medical Examiner said Scheneider died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash. More toxicology tests are under way.
Deputies said speed and alcohol were factors in this crash.
A 29-year-old woman and a 35-year-old woman were driving the other two vehicles. Both were recovering at area hospitals.
The highway was closed for several hours.
