Man could be charged for pulling boy's tooth
Police: Disorderly conduct charge is pending
La Crosse police say a disorderly conduct charge is pending against a West Salem man who pulled a tooth from the mouth of a 9-year-old boy. Police say the man was drunk.
The La Crosse Tribune reports the child and his mother were outside Jules Coffee House on Sunday night when the man approached and asked the boy what was wrong with his tooth.
Police reports say the child flashed his loose tooth and the man flicked it. The boy's mouth filled with blood. He told police it hurt and he cried because he was scared.
The man allegedly told police he had permission to pull the tooth, and said he knew what he was doing because his father and grandfather were dentists.
