Madison officer’s hand injured responding to domestic fight
Couple argued at Raymond Road home
Police said an officer suffered a hand injury after responding to a report of a domestic disturbance on the 6400 block of Raymond Road on Saturday morning.
Police said a man and woman were fighting at their home about 10:30 a.m. when another adult at the residence attempted to intervene and the man became combative.
Madison Police Sgt. Cindy Derring said a responding officer received a hand laceration that caused some swelling.
Derring added that no weapons were involved.
Two were arrested in connection with the incident; as of 3 p.m. Sgt. Matt Schroedl said information on the charges was not yet available.
Further details on the incident will be released later Saturday, Schroedl said.
