A 73-year-old Madison man's death has been confirmed to be heat related by the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office.
The man died in his home in the City of Madison on July 5.
The home had no air conditioning.
The man did not live alone and was found within several hours of his death.
The medical examiner says the man had other diseases that increased his risk for a heat related death, and came to the conclusion after getting the postmortem testing results.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services now says there are 10 confirmed heat-related fatalities this year, and 12 possbile deaths.
