JANESVILLE, Wis. -

A Janesville man faces his seventh drunken driving charge after getting into a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon, officials said.

Janesville police responded around 4:45 p.m. to reports of a traffic crash with injuries at the intersection of West Wall Street and Sunset Avenue, according to a release.

Officers noticed one of the drivers, 40-year-old Jeremy R. Reuter, displayed signs of being impaired by alcohol, authorities said.

Reuter failed field sobriety testing and was arrested on a tentative seventh-offense operating while intoxicated charge. He also faces charges of OWI causing injury, operating after revoked and failing to yield at a yield sign.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a hospital where they were treated and released, according to the release.
