Fog is one of the factors cited as a cause of a crash that injured two in Green County Monday night, according to the Green County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to County Road D at Highway 92 in Exeter Township at 6:59 p.m. for a report of a one-vehicle crash.
Investigators said Thomas R. Kubly, 66, of Monticello, was driving southbound on County Road D when he ran through a stop sign, went into a ditch and hit an embankment.
Kubly and passenger Carol C. Kubly, 60, of Monticello, were transported to Meriter Hospital with injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.
Deputies said Thomas Kubly was traveling too fast for conditions.
