The home of a Middleton family sustained damage in a Monday afternoon fire that destroyed the family’s garage.

Fire crews were called to 5413 Larkspur Rd. at about 2 p.m. for a report of a fire. Mutual aid was requested.

The family was not home at the time of the fire.  Firefighters at the scene were able to save a dog from the home.
