MADISON, Wis. -

A fistfight between two teenagers that drew a crowd at the Madison Metro South Transfer Point broke up when a man displayed a gun, according to police.

Police said the fight started late Thursday afternoon at 802 W. Badger Road and ended when a man who was not involved in the fight pulled a handgun from his waistband.

A witness told police the man displayed the gun as a way to end the fight. The fight ended and the crowd scattered when the gun was displayed, according to police. The gun was never aimed at anyone and was returned to the man's waistband after the fight broke up.

The man who displayed the gun is described as black, 20-30 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 195 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt and faded blue jeans.
