MILWAUKEE -

The FBI Milwaukee Division said Wednesday it's seeking the public's help in identifying two serial robbers in Wisconsin.

One bank robber is suspected in 10 bank robberies in Madison, Middleton, Janesville, Rockford, Ill., and Dubuque, Iowa.

The FBI said this bank robber (pictured right) is described as a white man, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slender build and light brown hair in his late 20s to early 30s.

During the robberies, the man walked into the banks wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses, handed a note to a teller that demanded cash and indicated that he had a weapon, the FBI said.

The man may be driving a 2003 to 2008 silver Toyota Corolla with a sunroof.

The FBI said this robber is believed to be responsible for 10 bank robberies at:

  • September 19, 2011, Associated Bank, 2410 Allen Blvd, Middleton

The second serial bank robber the FBI said it's looking for is suspected in six Wisconsin bank robberies in Kenosha, West Bend, Fond du Lac, Richfield, Hartford and Westfield.

The second robber is described as a white man between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall with brown hair and a thin build (160-180 pounds). He may have a deformity or disability to his left hand. In each case, the man handed a note to a teller that demanded cash, the FBI said.

In some cases, witnesses described his vehicle as a green 1990s Plymouth Voyager or Dodge Caravan that might have a maroon or purple hood.

The FBI said this second bank robber is believed to be responsible for six bank robberies at:

On Wednesday, The Wisconsin Bankers Association announced that it has teamed up with M&I Bank and Anchor Bank, which were both targets in the last month. The three organizations are offering a $7,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest.

"We tend to give money to law enforcement as a tool when the crimes seem more egregious," said Rose Oswald Poels, president/CEO of the Wisconsin Bankers Association. "Bank robberies do nothing but put the public and the bank employees at great risk, and so these are dangerous individuals, and they need to be caught."

The FBI said anyone with information about either of the robbers is urged to call the FBI Milwaukee Division at 414-276-4684.
