TOWN OF BURKE, Wis. -

A sheriff’s deputy administered Narcan to man found unresponsive Tuesday night in running vehicle, according to a release.

Dane County sheriff’s deputies responded around 5:45 p.m. to a report of a man slumped over in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Pine Cone Restaurant at 6162 Highway 51, officials said.

Deputies found 43-year-old Scott L. Warnecke unresponsive in the driver’s seat with the vehicle still running, according to the release. The vehicle was in gear and deputies could see drug paraphernalia in Warnecke’s hand.

A deputy administered Narcan, and Warnecke was taken to a hospital.

After being released from the hospital, Warnecke will face tentative charges of second-offense operating while intoxicated, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
