A Cross Plains call center is permanently closing its doors in early December, according to a news release from the state Department of Workforce Development.

The call center for Home Security of America will close by Dec. 6, affecting 121 employees, the release said.

The company's vice president said all but 15 people will be able to keep their jobs and will be offered positions working from home.

DWD's South Central Workforce Development Area Rapid Response will help those affected by the closure, the release said.
