A northwestern Wisconsin man is accused of driving drunk and running over a woman in the parking lot of a bar, killing her.
Thirty-five-year-old Michelle Lowe, of Luck, was killed outside Staples Lake bar in the Polk County town of Johnstown last weekend. Twenty-six-year-old Benjamin Biron, of Comstock, is charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
Sheriff's authorities say Biron and Ryan Mazurek were involved in a fight at the bar, then got into a car with Biron behind the wheel. Lowe was knocked down by the car and became wedged underneath.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reported Mazurek is charged with battery and disorderly conduct.
