Madison, Wis. -

Capitol protester Jeremy Ryan has been convicted in a Dane County Court of two counts of disorderly conduct.

The charges stem from events in which Ryan disturbed the work of Capitol Press Corps. One press member reported that she felt harassed by Ryan and other protesters.

Both convictions are misdemeanors.

Several other charges were dismissed. Those charges may be reconsidered if Ryan fails to successfully complete a first-offender program. Those charges include use of a computer to make a threat, receipt of stolen property, criminal disorderly conduct and civil disorderly conduct.
