Madison police said a cab driver was shot by a pellet gun while driving Wednesday afternoon.
The cab driver contacted police after it appeared that someone shot a pellet gun at his taxi as he drove in the 2300 block of Allied Drive around 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
The driver, a 62-year-old Madison man, said his window was open.
He said he heard a sound like a pellet gun and a projectile hit one of his fingers, according to police.
The cab driver sought medical attention but was not seriously injured, police said.
