Milwaukee Brewers' second baseman Rickie Weeks has been struggling to get back to where he was last year when he was in the all-star game.
This season, he’s hitting .188 with 82 strikeouts so far.
But, Weeks in has been hitting .320 over the past week.
“It gets to him,” said Brewers Manager Ron Roenicke. “It doesn't matter how mentally tough you are, it still gets to you. (Weeks is) a professional. He goes about his job the right way. When you work so hard at something that you do and you do so well, you can't just say, ‘Oh, well, it's going to turn sometime. I'll just go about my job as normal as possible.’”
