A bicyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries after going through a stop sign and colliding with a car on Williamson Street early Tuesday morning, police said.

The 24-year-old, who was not wearing a helmet, was found unconscious after hitting the passenger side of the car around 12:20 a.m. on Williamson Street at South Livingston Street, according to a release.

The driver, a 38-year-old Madison man, and a passenger rendered aid to the bicyclist, who had gone up and over the car’s hood, before first responders got there, officials said.
