ATV rolls over on lake, kills driver

Fisherman discovered crash Sunday morning

MONTELLO, Wis. -

A man was killed when he lost control of his ATV, rolled it and became pinned underneath, according to the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Daniel Strangstalien, 52, of Briggsville, was the lone passenger on the ATV when it rolled on a plowed ice road on Lake Mason. A fisherman discovered the crash at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is taking part in the investigation.
