J.B. Limousine Closes Doors Amid Customer Complaints

Two Cases Open With Consumer Protection

The limo company about which WISC-TV reported customers' complaints in May has closed its doors.

In May, WISC-TV reported that J.B. Limousine canceled on its customers, including wedding parties, just days before events.

Some customers told WISC-TV that J.B. Limousine's owner said their limo was in an accident. Since the story aired, the company has closed its doors.

Customers received an e-mail last week saying the company would no longer offer service starting Aug. 1.

In the past few months, seven complaints against the company were filed with Wisconsin's Better Business Bureau.

In all seven, the BBB said J.B. Limousine Network made a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute.

At this time, there are two open cases with Wisconsin's Consumer Protection. Current or former customers who might need help recouping money or want more information can call Consumer Protection's hot line at 800-422-7128.

The company's owner, Jermaine Butler, said that anyone who booked for the future will receive their money back.
