The Dane County Sheriff's Department has made an arrest in connection with the hit-and-run death of a Mt. Horeb man.

Authorities said Justen Brock, 30, has been arrested, but not yet booked, in connection with the death of Gregory McCullick, 20.

Early Sunday morning, Gregory McCullick was struck and killed in the town of Springdale. McCullick was an MATC student and a 2004 graduate of Mt. Horeb High School.

Investigators said McCullick was walking home from a nearby residence when he was hit sometime between midnight and 2 a.m. Sunday.

A passerby found McCullick's body around 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Highway J in the town of Springdale.

The Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday night that it found the vehicle believed to be involved in the hit-and-run. Authorities said the vehicle was registered to Brock.
