SPRINGDALE, Wis. -- Dane County authorities are looking for more information on an overnight hit-and-run.A man's body was discovered on Dairy Ridge Road near County Highway J in the town of Springdale around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.Authorities cordoned off the ditch where the body was found while they conducted their investigation.Deputies believe a vehicle hit the man sometime after midnight.His name is being withheld until family has been notified.They believe the suspect's vehicle is a dark colored, charcoal grey, possibly General Motors vehicle. The vehicle would have damage to the front passenger side and hood.If you have any information on the crime you are asked to call the Dane County Sheriff's Department.
