A pilot from Wisconsin was killed on Sunday just hours before the start of the Illinois Valley Air Show.

The pilot died in a plane crash, which happened about 100 miles southwest of Chicago in Peru, Ill.

Christopher Good, 55, of West Bend, was attempting to land in formation with three other planes when his plane bumped another one and crashed, WISC-TV reported.

After the accident, the Federal Aviation Administration questioned the surviving pilots.

The LaSalle County coroner will do an autopsy on Good on Monday.
