Foti Is Lobbying On Behalf Of 9 Clients

MADISON, Wis. -- A former state Assembly leader might be serving a jail sentence for an ethics violation, but he's back at the state Capitol lobbying legislators.Steve Foti is serving 60 days in the Waukesha County Jail with work release privileges.The Oconomowoc Republican earlier pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for directing an aide to campaign on state time.Democratic Rep. Spencer Black said that Foti's presence at the Capitol highlights the need for ethics reform. But, Republican Sen.Luther Olsen said that a judge approved Huber privileges for Foti so he should be allowed to work.Foti is lobbying on behalf of Miller Brewing and eight other clients.
