Madison police said a 9-year-old was arrested Monday after video games stolen from an east side house were located in the boy’s home.
Police said a citizen reported a burglary in progress just before 4 p.m. Police cleared the victim’s house at gunpoint but found no suspects at the scene.
Further investigation lead police to a neighborhood boy’s home on O’Brien Court, where police said officers found video games stolen from the burgled house.
The 35-year-old victim’s house is located on Trafalger Place.
According to the report, the boy entered the home through an unlocked door.
The 9-year-old was released to a parent after arrest, police said.
