Patrick Hickey, the director of the Worker's Rights Center, said 30 workers believed they were laid off from Uniek, Inc. based in Waunakee.

After discussions, with the company, it turned out to be a misunderstanding. Todd Tatlock, the CEO of Qualitemps, hires out to Unique and said that the company actually worked with the employees to give them the day off.

The Workers' Rights Center is negotiating with three other businesses. The center said that a total of five people were laid off among the three businesses.

If the workers don't get their jobs back, the Wworkers' Rights Center said that it will demonstrate in front of the businesses this weekend.
