Judge Declines To Move Jensen's Trial
Jensen, Foti, Aide Face Misconduct Charges

MADISON, Wis. -- A judge has declined to move the trial of state Rep. Scott Jensen from Dane County.Despite his rejecting the move, Dane County Judge Steven Ebert said that Jensen and his co-defendants can raise the issue against during jury selection next month in their political corruption trial.Attorneys for Jensen, former Rep. Steven Foti and former aide Sherry Schultz asked the judge to move their case because of publicity in the Madison area.Ebert said that coverage has not been prejudicial.Jensen faces three felony counts of misconduct in office and one misdemeanor count of intentional misuse of a public position for private gain. Foti and Schultz each face a count of felony misconduct in office.
