Police have identified a woman who died after an apparent carbon monoxide poisoning in Lake Mills.

Police said 37-year-old Marcie Hufford of Whitewater, Wis., wasn't breathing and didn't have a pulse after she and a man were found in a car Sunday morning on Main Street in Lake Mills.

The man has been identified as Matthew Wheeler, who is in serious condition. He is from Lake Mills.

Police said the car's engine was running and they believe carbon monoxide from the engine somehow, leaked into the car.
