Dodgeville Show Will Go On

Slight Changes Made

Posted: 11:19 pm CST December 19, 2005Updated: 11:33 pm CST December 19, 2005

The Dodgeville School District says there will be a few changes in its holiday program Tuesday.

A national conservative group is threatening to sue Ridgeway Elementary School for changing the lyrics of Silent Night.

The school maintains it didn't change anything –- that the song is part of a published play its students are performing.

The show will go on Tuesday, but students won't sing Cold In The Night, instead they'll perform it as a monologue.

During intermission the show will include traditional carols from a variety of faiths.
