Madison Students Helping Mississippi Schools Get Running

Posted: 8:42 pm CST November 28, 2005

Madison schools are sending some money to help a hurricane-damaged school district in Pascagoula, Miss.

Water damage and mold forced that district to gut many of its schools.

The Madison donation of more than $12,000 has been designated for teacher resources such as books and other classroom materials.

The funds were raised in the Kids for Schools Coin Drive.
