DEFOREST, Wis. -- Wisconsin State Patrol cars are going high-tech.Soon, 400 squad cars will have what troopers at the DeForest post have had for the past six months – GPS satellite systems."We can now effectively and efficiently know where our cars are and send them to an incident, the closest cars," said Sgt. Shelly Hutter.By the end of November, handwritten tickets will be history thanks to new printing equipment installed in the squads.
