Black Panther Founder To Speak In Madison Friday

The founder of the Black Panthers, Bobby Seale, will speak on the UW-Madison campus on Friday night.

Since founding the Black Panthers more than 40 years ago, Seale has become one of the leading advocates for equality for all cultures.

Seale's appearance is part of Black History Month events and is sponsored by the Wisconsin Black Student Union, the Associated Students of Madison, University Housing, Sellery Hall, the Multicultural Council, Pathways to Excellence and the Wisconsin Union Directorate Spotlight Speaker Series.

The lecture is free and starts at 7 p.m. in Room 165 of Bascom Hall.
