Alcohol appears to be a factor in crash where a 3-year-old was ejected in Dodge County Thursday afternoon, according to a release.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office responded around 2:45 p.m. to reports of a single-vehicle crash on Town Road MM, west of Jefferson Road, in the township of Ashippun, officials said.

Noelle E. Deehr, 32, of Horicon, was driving west on Town Road MM in a 2005 Ford SUV when she lost control, causing the SUV to enter the south ditch, investigators said. The SUV hit a steep embankment and a utility pole.

A 3-year-old was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, according to the release. The child was flown from the scene by Flight for Life.

Deehr was not injured in the crash, officials said. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
